Diffractive Gratings

Paras defence is one of the only companies in India that offer gratings for Hyperspectral Imaging that are used to separate light of different wavelengths with high resolution. These gratings are classified on the basis of different parameters such as blazing angles, single-blazed or multi-blazed by maintaining the surface roughness (RMS) up to <5nm in parallel. This “super prism” aspect of the diffraction grating leads to the application for measuring atomic spectra in both laboratory instruments and telescopes and also for Space & Critical Applications.
